XPS board is used where low water absorption and high compressive strength are required on facades, foundations, retaining walls and building details at risk of moisture. Its closed-cell structure helps preserve thermal insulation performance over time.

Closed-cell XPS board is used in plinth, foundation-retaining wall, internal wall and facade details requiring low water absorption and compressive strength. The surface type must be compatible with the selected adhesive or render; fire safety, vapour control and the final finish must be considered within the complete facade system.
