Glass Wool HVAC Board helps reduce heat loss, condensation risk and duct-borne noise in ventilation and air-conditioning ducts. Its foil facing provides a clean, orderly finish in mechanical services applications.

An aluminium-foil-faced type is preferred where condensation is a risk in external duct insulation, while a glass-tissue-faced type is chosen for sound control inside ducts. Airtight sealing of joints with suitable foil tape and even fixing of the boards with pins are important for insulation continuity.
